Gym (Tokyo) Bio: Kairi is a young rookie in the IBLJ who, like many rookies, hopes to have a shot at being a champion one day. She is a childhood friend of Masanobu Shino and Seiko and coincidentally ended up in the IBLJ the same year as Shino. Not only did she end up in the IBLJ the same year as Shino, but she also ended up in the same city (Tokyo) as well; though she prefers to live in their hometown of Yokohama and commute to Tokyo rather than relocate there. Kairi started boxing at the age of 8 after being introduced to the sport by Shino after Shino and his family moved next door to Kairi and her family. Kairi and Shino, being the same age, were good friends growing up and attended the same school. Kairi is relatively shy and timid around strangers, but comes out of her shell whenever she is around people she knows, especially Shino. In the ring, she is known for having solid fundamental skills and while she does not excel in offense or defense, she has a decent all round fighting style. While she may not be the most gifted, or the most talented boxer, she is definitely a hard worker, and hard work is what has made her a success so far. No one expects Kairi to do much in the IBLJ, but she hasn't let that stop her from training hard to become a champion one day. |
